Bar stools and chairs were stained a cherry color. I stained them 2 years ago. Over time and 3 kids they needed a face lift. For the bar stools, I recovered the cushion, painted them an eggwhite with primer, and then went back over with a steel wool pad. Looks great NOW!!
For the chairs I painted them black and then went back over with a steel wool pad- New look is great!
